Six teams vie for two World Cup spots at U-23 Men’s Softball Asia Cup in Thailand

World No. 3 Japan, No. 13 Singapore, No. 20 Hong Kong, China, No. 26 India, No. 36 Thailand, and Malaysia will compete in a single round-robin format through Wednesday, 4 June.

The U-23 Men’s Softball Asia Cup is underway in Bangkok, Thailand, with six participating teams competing for the continental title and two spots in the WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup 2026, to be held in Sincelejo, Colombia. The tournament is being staged at Queen Sirikit Baseball Field.

World No. 3 Japan, No. 13 Singapore, No. 20 Hong Kong, China, No. 26 India, No. 36 Thailand, and Malaysia will compete in a single round-robin format through Wednesday, 4 June. The top two teams at the end of the Preliminary Round will qualify for the World Cup and face off for the continental title.

The third- and fourth-placed teams will play for the bronze medal, while the fifth and sixth teams will meet to determine the final standings.
