Dear Softball Asia Members,
We inform that upon a request by Chinese Taipei Softball Association (CTSA) who is hosting the U15 Women Softball Asia Cup in Puli Nantou TPE (13 – 17 June 2023), Softball Asia (SA) plans to hold another WBSC-SA Umpires Certification Seminar in conjunction with the U15 Women Softball tournament in Puli TPE. This will be the last WBSC-SA Umpires Certification Seminar for this year, 2023, for Softball Asia.
Please note that there is a commitment-participation fee of USD95.00 per person per day, for a twin-share room occupancy basis with 3 meals, which is PAYABLE TO SOFTBALL ASIA by 30 April 2023 and USD140.00 per person per day for a single room occupancy basis.
Dates of Umpires Seminar: 10 – 12 June 2023 (Theory with a written test).
Those who pass the WBSC level or SA level written test may stay on for the practical assessment during the tournament by serving as umpires for the tournament. Those who do NOT pass the required levels would not be able to complete the practical assessment and would have to re-sit the written test at another time.

Please note that the participants in this Umpires certification seminar should have the basic knowledge of the Softball Rules and preferably have attended and passed national umpires certification.
Those participants who pass BOTH WBSC level written test and practical assessment will obtain WBSC certification and may apply for WBSC Licensing Level 1. For those who do not pass WBSC level but are able to pass BOTH SA level written test and assessment will obtain SA certification.
