The Philippines Bacolod High School team who competed in the inaugural U18 Women Softball Asia Cup 2023 in Pingtan, China, last month, were treated to lunch and day out at the Campuestohan Mountain Resort on Bacolod, Philippines on Sunday.
The lunch and day out at the resort was made possible by Softball Asia President Datuk Low Beng Choo, who through her media officer Tony Mariadass, who was in Bacolod for the Masskara Football Festival tournament with XMail FC, got it organised as gesture to the young U16 team who finished 4th in Pingtan.
Ricardo Cano Tan and wife Nina, the owners of the beautiful resort, were present to welcome the team and Cano former president of Philippines Football Association, gave a motivational talk to the players.
The team was also presented the official softball used at the recent Asian Games in Hangzhou, and pins of Softball Asia, courtesy of Low.
Indeed a great day out.
