The 2nd Softball Asia EXCO meeting was successfully concluded this morning at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Chaired by Softball Asia president Dato’ Low Beng Choo in the presence of chairman Pan Yi Chuan, secretary-general Sally Lim, Vice-presidents, executive board members and invited members, the meeting lasted one and half hour.
After the welcome address by the chairman and president, the meeting which was streamed online with World Baseball Softball Confederation, Michael Schmidt, the Executive Director of the world body, following the meeting, Low, who is the secretary-general of WBSC and chair of WBSC-Asia Baseball5 Commission, dived straight into the agenda of the meeting.
Besides passing the minutes of the last Exco meeting, also held in Kuala Lumpur in August last year, the main agenda was to discuss and confirm the hosts and dates for the various Softball Asia tournaments for 2023.
All tournament dates and venues were confirmed and when the minutes of the meeting are ready and verified, it will posted in this site.
The delegates of the Exco meeting will also get an opportunity to witness the opening day fixtures of the inaugural Baseball3 Youth Asia Cup starting tomorrow at the Berjaya Times Square ballroom and ends on Saturday.
