At SBSA, we are tirelessly expanding our efforts to not only improve our athletes’ performance but to also develop a pool of certified and accredited officials. As such, we revived our umpiring programme in 2021 and kickstarted the Introductory Umpiring workshops in March.
Due to the limited number of participants allowed in a face-to-face session, we held two separate workshops at SportSG. The workshop was facilitated by SBSA’s very experienced and accredited umpire, Mr Marcus Yeo. SBSA plans to continue the progress for those who attended the introductory workshop with the Level 1 Umpiring course that is currently being scheduled for mid of June 2021.
